Multi-fingerprint detection and attribution analysis of greenhouse gas, greenhouse gas-plus-aerosol and solar forced climate change
- Applies a multi-fingerprint analysis to the detection and attribution of anthropogenic climate change
- Considers three climate change signals: simulations forced with greenhouse gases alone, greenhouse gases plus aerosols, and changes in solar radiation
- Results show that the observed climate change is consistent with a combined greenhouse gas and aerosol forcing, but inconsistent with greenhouse gas or solar forcing alone
