Late September heat wave breaks Twin Cities records

If it seemed unusual to keep your air conditioning on this late into September, well, the National Weather Service says that's because it is.
Sunday was the third 90-degree day in a row, making it the longest 90-plus degree streak in Minnesota history and just the fifth time ever recorded that the temperature broke 90 degrees after 9/24.
