Ice Out on White Bear Lake is Earliest Ever

Thanks to a warm end to winter, White Bear Lake recorded its earliest ice out on Wednesday — one of a number of St. Paul-Minneapolis area lakes that are thawing early. The previous record for White Bear, in records dating back to 1928, was March 19, 2012.
