Heat wave leads to more roadside calls

With record-breaking temperatures resulting in a wave of heat warnings earlier this month, AAA is also preparing for a flood of calls from members stranded roadside. That’s because as temperatures spike, calls for roadside assistance spike as well. In fact, AAA projects it will respond to nearly 200,000 roadside assistance calls throughout Arizona this summer, representing a three percent increase from the same timeframe last year
