Flooding displaces local families

 It's a site few ever expected to see, a downtown turned into a near ghost town because of a river now filling many roads in Orange. Thousands of homes are at risk, linked to historic flooding on the Sabine River. It had crested in some spots by Wednesday evening and was expected crest in Orange soon. Officials estimated the flood waters displaced about 10,0000 people
